A sustainable furniture update that looks like HAVU
HAVU Gaming is a Finnish esports organization aiming to grow into an international gaming lifestyle brand. Known for its top-tier teams, high-quality content, and active community, HAVU moved in summer 2025 from Lauttasaari to new premises in Härkähaankuja, Vantaa – a modern, easily accessible location close to the airport.
Round two with Martela – responsibly and with respect for the environment
This was HAVU’s second workspace transformation with Martela. The first project in 2021 was implemented with Martela’s Workplace as a Service (WaaS) model, and this time the furnishings were again chosen sustainably – reusing refurbished Outlet furniture, recycling pieces from the old office, and supplementing with new items. The space was updated to meet today’s needs without unnecessary overconsumption.

A balance of atmosphere and functionality
Sustainability is one of HAVU’s core values, and this was reflected in the project. The chosen furniture supports both a relaxed, homely atmosphere and top-level ergonomics and performance. The space includes:
- A gaming room designed for focus and ergonomics
- Two offices for efficient working
- A lounge area doubling as an event and livestream stage
- A kitchen and dining area for social interaction
Final touches on-site on moving day
Martela's team was on-site during the move to ensure the furniture layout matched the vision. Any unused pieces were taken away immediately to keep the space functional and clean from day one. For HAVU, a fully operational setup from day one was key.
