Martela Turns Profit – Strong Revenue Growth in H1 2025
Martela delivered a strong performance in the second quarter of 2025.
Revenue grew by 17% and the operating result turned positive at EUR 0.1 million (-1.6).
For the first half of the year, revenue increased by 21.8% compared to the previous year, reaching EUR 50.2 million (41.2).
Growth was recorded in all main markets except Norway, with Sweden showing particularly strong development – Q2 revenue there increased by nearly 78%. In Finland, revenue grew by 13.5%. The order book is now 20% higher than a year ago.
“I am truly proud of our team – turning Q2 profitable in this market is a major achievement. Higher sales volumes and efficiency measures are now clearly visible in the results, and that’s thanks to the entire Martela team,” says CEO Ville Taipale.
In the second half of 2025, Martela will continue to implement actions that improve efficiency and profitability, while investing in active customer work and its circular economy-based service model. The outlook for the full year remains positive: revenue is expected to grow, and the comparable operating result is anticipated to be close to break-even.
