Martela to furnish Ramboll Finland Ltd’s new head office in Espoo

Ramboll Finland Ltd and Martela Corporation signed a framework agreement in 2016 under which Martela is responsible for workplaces at Ramboll Finland Ltd’s offices as one of its framework suppliers. In a separate tendering process, Ramboll has commissioned Martela to carry out the large-scale furnishing project of Ramboll’s new 18.000 square-metre head office in Leppävaara, Espoo.

The head office will be completed in March 2019. The designers of the head office are Cederqvist & Jäntti as the principal architects, Gullstén & Inkinen Oy for interior design and Ramboll Finland Oy for all other design and engineering.

Offices that improve wellbeing and work culture

At Ramboll, workplace development is guided by responsibility towards the environment and employees, which is one of the company’s core values. The new head office provides Ramboll’s employees with user-centric facilities that support sustainable development and the wellbeing of employees and that improve the work culture.

“We want to provide our personnel with the best possible surroundings that encourage them to work together and which they enjoy. We also want to introduce more flexible ways of working in our new head office that enable us to work more closely with our customers,” says Kari Melander, Director, Project Support and Development, at Ramboll. Employees have made an active contribution to the needspecification and planning phases of the project.

At Ramboll Finland Ltd, the project is headed by Kari Melander and Joni Pelkonen, Project Manager. On the Martela side, an expert team led by Petri Kukkonen, Key Account Manager, is responsible for the project.
