The Tree - Space divider

The Tree is a space divider and design object designed by Professor Eero Aarnio. It works both individually and in groups. A share of the proceeds from the sales of the Tree is donated to World Vision Finland's operations. As part of their project, 13,500 trees were planted in Peru between 2008 and 2010 with the help of the sales proceeds.

Colour: white.
Base material: rotational moulded polyethylene (PE-HD). Inside the base counter weight of steel (10 kg).

Eero Aarnio

Professor Eero Aarnio (1932) is one of the major innovators of modern furniture design. He started by experimenting with plastic, bright colours and organic shapes, breaking away from the constraints of traditional design. Many of his iconic pieces are on display at the most highly-regarded museums in the world, such as the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, MoMA in New York, and the Vitra Design Museum in Weil am Rhein.
