All in our logistics center where local recycling services are available, waste is sorted by material to wood, energy, cardboard, metal and plastic fractions. In addition data protection documents, mixed and hazardous waste are collected separately. In 2009 Nummela total amount of waste was about 500 tons of which wood fractions were 51%, energy fractions 17% and cardboard 15%. Mixed waste share was only 3,6% and hazardous waste 0,3%. In Kidex Oyj there was 1400 tons of waste of which 93% wood fractions.

Martela building with group functions generated 47 tons of waste year 2009 of which 32% bio 22% paper, 20% cardboard and 10% energy fractions as well as 2,5% of hazardous waste.
